E3 2015: Star Fox shown for Wii U

Nintendo started off its E3 press conference with Star Fox Zero for Wii U, showing off some familiar environments and enemies. It's coming in holiday 2015.

A separate interview segment showed designer Shigeru Miyamoto talking about the new Wii U GamePad functionality, along with how you can make the Arwing transform into a gyrowing, walker, and landmaster.

      I heard Star Fox and then they showed this. Was not impressed. Could have been so much better.

        how? Star fox looked unique back in the day because of the polygon limitations..that was their 'brand' if you could call it that. If they did ultra realistic vehicles and environments they would be dinged for not looking star fox enough.

          They could have done something a lot closer to the original game that we all loved, but stayed with the original art style and maybe updated it slightly. That's all I'm saying

      I think it looks cool as long as they stay with 99% shooter action

      The gameplay looks like some great starfox action but dam it looks horrible. It honestly looks like a game from the 90s.

        I bet it's going to look awesome at 60fps on an HD display when it releases. I feel like they haven't put in all the graphics flair they want to yet.
