Bloodborne progression bug gets a hotfix next week

There's a progression bug in Bloodborne that could make the game even MORE difficult if you come across it.

Sony and From Software have acknowledged there’s a bug in Bloodborne that could potentially stop Hunters dead in their tracks if they come across it. The bug is detailed below, but if you prefer not to be spoiled of specific locations or boss names, then just know you should avoid initiating a multiplayer session in the Forbidden Woods by using either the Small Resonant Bell or Sinister Resonant Bell.

(Spoiler Alert)

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get into the specifics as to what could cause this bug.

Players have reported the Lunarium Key may not appear due to a multiplayer bug. The key can be found in Byrgenweth, and if it doesn’t show up, then you won’t be able to visit Master Willem, the Moonside Lake, and Rom the Vacuous Spider. So if you’re in Bloodborne’s Forbidden Woods area, just forget playing any multiplayer games until the bug is fixed.

(End of Spoiler Alert)

A hotfix for Bloodborne, making the game version 1.02, is currently being worked on, which Sony says will be releasing some time next week. Unfortunately, this update will not include improvements to the game’s load times and overall performance, which Sony says will come later in a separate patch.

Speaking of Bloodborne, need help on some of its boss fights or want to know what we think of it so farOF COURSE YOU DO!
