A new month is upon us, which means EA has made yet another game within its Origin library for free to its members. This month, Syndicate is available for free as a part of Origin’s On The House promotion.

If Syndicate sounds familiar, that’s because EA tasked Starbreeze Studios in 2012 with breathing new life into the original game, which was released almost 20 years prior. The original Syndicate received some positive reviews when it was released and was an isometric real-time tactical game within a cyberpunk setting.

In Syndicate, you’re tasked with issuing orders to a team of four cyborg agents around a number of cities within a fixed-view isometric style. You’ll complete a number of mission goals that includes assassinating high-ranking members of a rival syndicate, rescuing captured allies, persuading civilians and scientists to join the player’s company, or just kill all enemy agents within a level.

If you enjoyed XCOM, especially the original versions of the game, then you’re going to enjoy Syndicate. Just be sure to grab it soon as it’ll be available for free for a limited time.

I also launch it very few times and it always asks for my username and password - it can't even remember the username???

It does that if I've not used it in a while, which is most of the time.
Just played the first level and got a free Uzi :) , and a couple of dead agents :(
