Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is officially out in the wild, which means you’ll soon be shooting your close friends and enemies in the face for countless hours for months to come. If you take your Call of Duty-ing serious, then you’re going to want to pick up its companion app.
The Advanced Warfare companion app is available on iOS, Android, and Windows devices and can help players create and manage their Clan and take part in Call of Duty Clan Wars. Clan Wars allows you and your friends to join and compete against other clans of similar size and skill to fight for position on the map. Clans need to an in-game multiplayer match within a specific game mode in order to capture a target, which offers in-game XP bonus and clan points. The clan with the most points wins, which helps them earn exclusive in-game rewards.
One thing I’m sure many Call of Duty players will appreciate is the ability to edit their in-game player or clan emblems, which previously was only done in-game. I’ve seen some impressive emblems in previous Call of Duty titles, but I have a feeling with the ability to edit emblems within the app, things are going to get even crazier.
