The Evil Within tantalizing Australian gamers with special Maze

Bethesda has teamed up with Warner Bros. Movie World for a new haunted house, but it's only overseas, at least for the time being.

Bethesda proved that it could do an effective haunted house last month with The Evil Within Experience, which took place during PAX Prime in Seattle. Now it appears to be introducing a new horror experience to lucky Australian gamers in time for the game's launch.

The publisher has teamed up with Warner Bros. Movie World for a new activity called The Evil Within Maze. Visitors can walk through this experience and check out events from the game, which will be reenacted by actors taking on the roles of characters.

The event will be held at the theme park's Fright Nights event throughout October, but those who don't want to wait that long can check out a sneak preview of the Maze at the EB Expo in Sydney, which is held from October 3rd through the 5th. No word yet if we'll be seeing a similar activity here in the U.S.

The Evil Within releases on October 14th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Insert joke about Austrailia's common animals (and pinecones) being more dangerous than any of the horrors in The Evil Within (we should have a shacktag that does this). Seriously, though- this attraction sounds pretty wicked!

Goddammit. As if I wasn't already pissed off about Bethesda's lame marketing for this game.
