EA Sports UFC gets new fighters and other content with latest update

It's time to pound fools with "The Immortal". Or "Quicksand", if you prefer.

EA Sports has announced a new update for its brawlathon EA Sports UFC, which is available now on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. With the update, you'll have access to three new welterweight fighters, including Matt "The Mortal" Brown and Mike "Quicksand" Pyle, as well as heavyweight brawler Stipe Milocic.

In addition, the free update also includes a number of gameplay additions, such as being able to perform manual taunts, catching certain kicks while you're fighting, turning a single leg submission into a half guard, and an improvement on stamina when it comes to loss.

The update is provided in great detail over on EA Sports' page, but, if you're like us, you'll just download it and get to fighting.

EA Sports UFC is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Robert Workman was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.
