The Legend of Korra gets a release date

You'll be whipping up spells on bad guys in October.

Last month, we took a good first look at The Legend of Korra during a chock-filled week at San Diego Comic-Con, the latest effort from Activision and the team at Platinum Games. The game had a lot to offer, and features the talents of the TV show, so it feels just like an authentic Korra product. And, now, it doesn't look like you'll have to wait long for it.

Activision has announced that the game will release on October 21st for PlayStation consoles, and a day later, October 22nd, on Xbox consoles. There's no word yet on pricing, but it's expected to be around $15-$20.

So if you're a fan of the series, you've got a lot to look forward to.
