The Walking Dead is getting another video game adaptation, this time from the studio behind Payday.
Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman announced that his publishing label, Skybound Entertainment, has partnered with Overkill to make a co-op Walking Dead game. To ring in the announcement, Payday 2 has added a baseball bat lined with barbed wire, perfect for whacking the brains out of zombies.
Telltale has developed the most established adaptation of The Walking Dead with its story-driven adventure games, but we've seen other attempts. Survival Instinct, based more on the TV show, was panned, and the network AMC also has tried its hand at mobile publishing with No Man's Land.
