One of Deep Silver's most impressive games for the summer/fall season will no doubt be Metro Redux, which brings together the cult classic Metro 2033 and its follow-up, Last Light, into one complete package for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Today, developer 4A Games released a new video explaining all the changes that went into the game to make it the best yet on these platforms.
As you can see, the major difference lies with the new 4A Engine, which allows the visuals to look even better than ever before. And considering how atmospheric both 2033 and Last Light were in previous releases, that's really going to say a lot.
In addition, new games modes and additional content will also be included in the package, as detailed in the video above. There's a lot to look forward to with this one.
Metro Redux will release on August 26th for $49.99.
Robert Workman posted a new article, Metro Redux: what's changed for the new versions?.
Find out how many improvements went into Metro 2033 and Last Light.
Still can't tell if I want to pick this up, I think it will have to be a bargain buy sometime in the future.
Looks awesome! I never got around to playing the originals, so I'm probably going to enjoy this on PS4!
FYI: Xbox One version is 912p at 60fps. PS4 is 1080p at 60fps.
Cant wait to pick this up. You can see the work that went into this. For less than the price of a full game, you get two remasters. Completely overhauled, not just looking pretty. Sony should be fucking ashamed.
