Don't Starve: Reign of Giants has been out on PC since May, but soon PlayStation 4 owners will finally be able to catch up. Klei has announced that the expansion will launch next week. It will hit July 22 for $4.99, and PlayStation Plus members will get 10% off at launch.
Reign of Giants comes with more playable characters, new creatures, an additional save slot, a full season cycle, and naturally, giants.
According to a post on the Klei forums, the expansion will come alongside a patch with performance enhancements and bug fixes. It will also add some features and content previously exclusive to the PC version, like some in-game dialogue, a random character select option, disable screen shake option, Snow Chester and Shadow Chester, and some more options for World Generation.
Steve Watts posted a new article, Don't Starve: Reign of Giants coming to PlayStation 4 next week.
Giants coming alongside giant patch
Even though I suck at Don't Stave, I love it and will definitely get this when it comes out.
Part of reason is to support these guys and encourage them to bring Don't Starve With Friends to the PS4. That's going to be a riot. :)
