Nintendo Amiibo prices possibly revealed

A UK retailer has listed prices for Nintendo's amiibo figures, which may give us an idea of what to expect from them.

Nintendo's amiibo figurines won't be out until later this fall, and the company hasn't given much detail regarding pricing the sets. A retailer may have slipped the first hint of it, though, and the figures appear to be on the pricier end of the NFC toy market.

The UK retailer Shop.To (via IGN) has listed several amiibo figures for 12.85 pounds. That's roughly the UK price of Skylanders Swap Force figures, which cost $14.99 in America. In response, Nintendo stated that it has not officially announced prices.

Amiibo is planned to debut with Smash Bros this fall, as the characters can fight automatically and level up to gain access to new abilities. Nintendo has plans for the figurines to have some kind of functionality with other games too, like Yoshi's Woolly World and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

I will buy one, just to test how it will work.

Then if it ends up being useful, I'll buy a few more.

At the end of the day, I probably will own those all, gotta catch 'em all...
