The Last of Us 'Grounded Bundle' includes harder mode and more maps

The Last of Us is getting a "Grounded Bundle" that includes a harder single-player mode, four more maps, and a variety of weapons and skills.

The Last of Us has finally been confirmed for PlayStation 4, but Naughty Dog is still keeping up with supporting the original. The upcoming "Grounded Bundle" includes a new Grounded Mode, the Reclaimed Territories Map Pack, and a variety of new weapons and skills.

The Grounded Mode is called the "hardest challenge you'll ever face" in the single-player campaign. The Reclaimed Territories pack includes four new maps: Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine, and Water Tower. Grounded Mode will cost you $4.99 alone, or you can pay $9.99 for the maps.

A Survivalist Weapon Bundle will be available as well for $5.99. It includes four more weapons: the Specter silenced assault rifle, a double-barrel shotgun, a highly accurate Enforcer pistol, and an explosives launcher. Two Survival Skills bundles will be available too. Each bundle includes four skills and costs $3.99 as a standalone. The Situational Survival Skills bundle includes Agility, Awareness, Fortitude, and Scavenger. The Professional Survival Skills bundle includes Gunslinger, Bomb Expert, Executioner, and Damage Marker.

Meanwhile, the Grounded Bundle includes all of those individual pieces. All players will be getting a Full-Auto Rifle for free as well. The Grounded Bundle is available as part of the season pass, which is available for $19.99 until the week of May 13, after which you'll have to buy any content a la carte. Naughty Dog will be showing off the Grounded Bundle content with a livestream on April 24.
