World of Diving has a rather unique premise: it promises to be a realistic diving simulator you can play with friends online. It also supports Oculus Rift, so you'll be able to feel like you're wearing a helmet while wearing a helmet.
The free-to-play game is already available in pre-alpha, with microtransactions allowing players to purchase various items from the in-game store. "With this online platform that allows for much more sophisticated feedback and rewarding there of, we're hoping to take engagement with our modest, but enthusiastic and growing community to the next level," Vertigo Games creative director Richard Stitselaar said.
The game isn't expected to launch until the second half of 2014. But, our interest is piqued and you can see a new trailer here:

These are always such niche games, but cool that PC is getting a game like Endless Ocean was on Wii.
And with Oculus this could be cool!
