Island Tour will support 4 players via local Download Play, and will include 80 new mini-games. New to the 3DS version is augmented reality, which uses AR Cards for new games. You can actually spot one of those games in this new trailer Nintendo released today.

Mario Party games are typically a day one purchase for me, but no online multiplayer completely kills this game.

I don't get this either. Why not open it up to the Internet for long distance gaming?

Why they didn't make this for the wii-u is mind boggling. No online kills this game.

I love my 3ds but a mario party game on it seems very stupid.

Andrew/Shackers, have you had any hands on with the new Wii-U Fit and the pedometer?

I'd love to hop back into a Mario Party game again, it's been so long.

But no online multiplayer is a dealbreaker..

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to put this on a handheld and not a home console?
