Amanita Design's beloved adventure Machinarium has finally made the trek to iPhone. Best of all, the game is now a Universal App, meaning if you've already picked up the game for iPad, you'll be able to download the game at no additional cost.

Machinarium's new update will take advantage of several iOS features, like full Retina Display, pinch-to-zoom, Game Center achievements, and iCloud saves. Unfortunately, the update will mean your current save file will be lost. Amanita Design is offering six pre-saved positions from different parts of the game to minimize the loss as much as possible.

"Machinarium Pocket Edition" is currently on sale from the App Store for $1.99. The Universal iPad version goes for $4.99.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
