We heard about Nickelodeon and Ubisoft developing a Raving Rabbids cartoon a few years back, and now the series is ready to debut. Ubisoft announced today that the show, titled Rabbids Invasion, will premiere on Nickelodeon at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 3.
The series will consist of 26 half-hour episodes, each composed of three stories each. They'll air first on Nick, and then be available across digital stores like iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, and the PlayStation Store the day after they air. Ubisoft and Nickelodeon will also be offering interactive features and games through the official site.
Rabbids Invasion is also the name of an upcoming Xbox One game, which uses the Kinect to make an "interactive TV show."
Steve Watts posted a new article, Raving Rabbids TV cartoon coming in August.
The Raving Rabbids TV series will debut on August 3. Rabbids Invasion will consist of 26 half-hour episodes, and tie into an upcoming Xbox One "interactive TV show" game.
I still think the Rabbids are great and am pretty sure those despicable me characters were a direct take off of them, so I have hopes for a tv show.
