Hot on the heels of yesterday's multiplayer trailer, Capcom has released more details about the modes in Lost Planet 3. The game will feature four multiplayer modes across six maps, and players will be split into the NEVEC and Snow Pirates camps.

The Capcom-Unity blog details two of the modes, Scenario and Akrid Survival. Scenario is an objective-based mode that mixes offensive and defensive challenges for both teams. Akrid Survival has two teams of three players each take on independent waves of Akrid, then face off directly in a PvP elimination round.

      Why put MP in this?
      Well, another would-be title.

I'm actually a bit disappointed this won't have the full campaign co-op that LP2 did - that was an immense amount of fun. Don't really care about the other standalone multiplayer modes.. I'm mostly in this for the singleplayer campaign.

Isn't LP a multiplayer first series?
