Beyond: Two Souls developer David Cage tends to have big ambitions, so it's unsurprising that the noted developer already has plans for his next project. It may be a little more surprising that he already has plans for his next three projects.
"I actually have probably my next three games in mind," Cage told Games Industry International at DICE. "Although I'm full speed on Beyond, I know what I'm doing after it because it's already in development, and I know what I'm doing after that and probably after that."
Two of the ideas aren't in active development, of course, but Cage said that constantly thinking of ideas gives them time to grow. "I keep thinking all the time, all the time I'm working. And it gives time to ideas really to evolve and to come to a moment where they're ready to be written," he said. "So it's not like I just finished Beyond - oh my God, what am I going to do with the next idea? No, it's something that's matured for a very long time. That definitely helps a lot."
Cage didn't give details on the upcoming projects, or share more insight on Beyond. We can say with some certainty that whatever he has up his sleeve, it won't be a sequel.
Steve Watts posted a new article, Beyond: Two Souls developer Cage has next three games planned.
Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls creator David Cage says he already has three game concepts planned out for once Beyond is finished, one of which is already in development.
