Another new Star Wars video game franchise may be on the way. Domain registrations and trademarks filed by LucasArts point to the existence of "Star Wars: First Assault." The trademarks cover their bases for associated merchandise, but the main trust of them is "interactive entertainment software."

Fusible found trademarks for both First Assault and Star Wars: First Assault. This came only a week after LucasArts registered domain names of the same name across various territories.

Without further details, there's no telling exactly what this project could be. The name doesn't really jibe with the plot of Star Wars 1313, and LucasArts hasn't announced any other pending projects. We can always hope for a spiritual successor to the cancelled Battlefront 3.
