If you decide to pick up Asura's Wrath today, don't worry about its supposedly short play time. Capcom has announced that it will be "supporting" Asura's Wrath with "an extensive offering" of DLC. In fact, the publisher has already announced two additional episodes that takes place between episodes from the main game. "Both packs will offer a completely new artistic style taking their inspiration from the world of anime," the announcement notes. According to Siliconera, the DLC will take place in between episodes 11 and 12, and episodes 15 and 16. These additional episodes will feature animation from Studio 4C, the studio behind the new Thundercats series and Catherine. The DLC model largely mimics the one Rockstar used in LA Noire--both games feature "interquel" episodes, instead of continuing the narrative. Capcom has yet to date or price either "Chapter 11.5" or "Chapter 15.5." In addition to these two add-on episodes, Capcom has also confirmed additional non-canonical DLC. An additional DLC pack has Street Fighter's Ryu challenging Asura to a fight, "creating a DLC offering that fans won’t want to miss."
