We've already heard some details of the upcoming Gears of War 3 downloadable content, the Horde Command Pack. Now we're getting a closer look at the DLC, complete with some advice on map and fortification from series creator Cliff Blezsinski and director of production Rod Fergusson.

The G4TV video gives a brief look at the Rustlung map, which Blezsinski says is best for short-range weapons like shotguns. As if you aren't just using the shotgun everywhere already. The video also details some of the new upgrades and character models coming with the pack. The DLC is due on November 1 for $10 (800 MSP).
