The jump represents the highest value of the Take-Two share price since 2008, when publishing giant EA attempted to acquire the company. On Monday, Take-Two shares were trading at $15.72 per share. L.A. Noire launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on Tuesday, in North America. The game will be available worldwide by Friday. Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia believes the long-awaited title from developer Team Bondi could strike a big chord at retail, telling Industry Gamers: "We think the Street is expecting the title to sell three to four million units and so far the initial reviews seem to support this thinking." The Sterne Agee "channel" checks into the game's pre-orders also points to a unit sales potential "in the three to four million range," he added.

No, 47 would be in the 40's. The clue is the first digit in the number.

Identifying the correct decade that a game is set in is considered pedantic now? Just...get out.

what the hell does that have to do with being pedantic?
I suppose 1967 is also in the 40s then, claiming otherwise would just be pedantic.
Hey, give me 2000 bucks for that item, I know it's only worth 500 but stop being pedantic about it

pedantic: Like a pedant, overly concerned with formal rules and trivial points of learning.

This didn't have anything to do with formal rules. And as far as trivial learning goes, you were wrong and he was correcting you.

If you prefer to wallow in your own ignorance, please go ahead. But don't do it here -- we'll call you out on it at every turn.

Since 3 years out of 10 is greater than 10/100, we should probably just call the 90's the 2000's, right? And by that extension, why not call the 1900's the 1800's?

I'd like someone to show me a significant cultural difference that distinguishes the years 1947 thru 1952.

"July 7 – A supposedly downed extraterrestrial spacecraft is reportedly found in the Roswell UFO incident, near Roswell, New Mexico, which was written about by Stanton T. Friedman.

July 29 – After being shut down on November 9, 1946, for a refurbishment, the ENIAC computer, the world's first electronic digital computer, is turned back on again. It then remains in continuous operation until October 2, 1955." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1947

It looks and sounds just like FO3.

1947: "I just got back from the war! I'm going to fuck anything that moves!"
1952: "Where the hell did all these kids come from?"
