Delightful digital distributor Steam is running some stonking mid-week sales. To celebrate the launch of Magicka's Vietnam add-on today, there's 50% off the splendid action-RPG. You can also get 75% off BioShock and BioShock 2 for today alone, as part of 2K's daily deals promotion.

For a bargain $7.99, you can pick up the Magicka Complete Pack, which contains the original game, the pre-order bonus Wizard's Survival Kit DLC, and the Vietnam add-on. You can also get one copy of the base game alone for $4.99, or four for only $14.99.

The Magicka sales will end on Thursday at 4pm PST.

BioShock and BioShock 2, meanwhile, are on sale at only $4.99 each. You can also pick up a BioShock 2 four-pack for only $14.99. If you haven't picked them up yet, this is a great opportunity to remedy your foolish behaviour. It's probably also the cheapest you'll find BioShock 2 ahead of the PC release of its thoroughly excellent single-player DLC Minerva's Den.

The BioShock sales will end at 10am PST on Wednesday.

Minerva's Den, good one. They seem right on top of that. Maybe the one person (part time) they have converting it to PC will finish it someday.

I may regret saying this, but I'd pay $40 for standalone Minerva's Den if it used only Steamworks.

What the heck is Magicka:Vietnam? I had to re-read that 3 times to make sure I saw it right...

A funny concept for DLC to a funny game. You've gotta play it with friends though.

yes, and like the first one, if you can stomach the slower pace, look up how to make it walk by default instead of run. i swear its a different gaming experience (for both titles) if you dont run through it like a fps but rather go slow and take the world in bit by bit. certainly run when its fight time, but otherwise slog through like an explorer and its fantastic.

I'd say so. If you want a lot of words about it, filter for BioShock in my post history.

I'm one of the few who liked the second more then the first so I say go for it.

I agree with ShXlll. The first was very interesting because of it's originality, but the second is a better, more refined game. Played through it in Feb on the PC and loved it.
