Hideo Kojima promoted to Konami VP
Konami is shuffling its upper management, making Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and Pro Evolution Soccer producer Shinji Enomoto corporate vice presidents.
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has been promoted to the role of Vice President, Corporate Officer at Konami, effective April 1. A Konami press release details various shifting roles at the company, including another VP spot for Pro Evolution Soccer producer Shinji Enomoto.
Other new positions include new board members and a new corporate auditor. Gamasutra reports that Kazuhiko Uehara, currently listed as a corporate officer, will take over as CEO of Hudson Soft once Konami fully acquires it.
