Evening Reading

I was hoping a few people would license the CryENGINE 2 and make pretty stuff. I am still pretty darn amazed from what I saw at E3 last year of Crysis.

Lastly, everyone who has the day off tomorrow enjoy! Hope stuff blows up!

Ever since I saw her ridiculous tattoos I can't take her seriously at all and she's gotten significantly less attractive.

Wouldn't kick her out of bed or nothin', just saying.

Any nerd can stand in the corner and drool over a girl. The one who goes up and talks to her is the one who wins. Not the guy who ogled her first! :P

Yeah, the only time Prime kicked ass in the movie. WTF.

Yeah, that was the only thing i did not like about the movie as well. he seemed to be pretty weak. However, im just gonna assume that bonecrusher took it out of him, after all, bonecrusher hates everyone and is only scared of megatron, so thats why megatron was kicking the crap out of prime.

I think it is because Bay can't orchestrate an action scene that makes any sense, so he just films random chaos with a telephoto lens. He couldn't figure out a decent fight between Prime and Megatron except to have two indistinct piles of random steel mash together five feet from the camera and then have Prime say "put the cube in my chest".

That slow-mo Prime vs. Megatron fixed-cam-spinning-crash through the building was insane. I laughed out loud at the sheer ridiculous awesomeness of it.

I liked them falling from the building, but everything else on the street I really wasn't into. The only action I really liked was the stuff in the desert (day and night).

I'm going to stop because I don't want to continue crapping up a thread for a movie that everyone seems to really like except me. :)

The movie was outstanding. I was glad the story between the autobots and decepticons was just as classic as in the old series, and the battles spread out the story between the two. The dialogue between humans wasn't that bad, but there was some tacked on characters that the movie could have done without, but it didn't detract. Special effects and music were outstanding, one of the best movies I've seen all year in threatres. It was a spectacle, its been since Jurassic Park that I've gone into a movie and been amazed by the special effects.

The S7 director and his crew were a cheesy bolt-on plot accelerant but other than that I thought it was an excellent film about giant transforming robots. I thought it was great and I can't wait to go see it again.

Yeah. The voices were the one thing I was a little worried about. They did a pretty good job of keeping the lines off the internet, and I'm happy I didn't go into the movie knowing what they were going to sound like.

Having the movie start out with an Optimus monologue totally set me at ease.

For the longest time Transformers was being advertised with a 7.4.7 opening date. But I think it might have been moved up a day to get a leg up on Live Free or Die Hard before its release was pushed up a week earlier.
