C&C 3 shows up at my door soon! Yay! I am absolutely awful at the demo but hopefully a slower introduction through the single player campaign can cure my suck. Oh, apparently I didnt break anything last night.. I'll take one more crack tonight! Also IE7 users shouldnt be getting those goofy cookie notices anymore.

  I installed the patch and noticed an improvement to the AI and the stealth/sneaking aspects... however, I'm not sure but I think I may be experiencing a drop in framerate.

      Um, I only got the chance to do the first mission. However as I proceeded to the railway bridge, I believe I heard a gunfight breaking out where the first mission took place... which would possibly mean yes?
      
      But isn't the game always going to have respawning? It would seem odd if you weren't getting nomadic packs of enemies roaming around the Zone.

        well there are a few places where its so rapid i can't even collect loot because new enemies keep cresting the hill nearby.

        They don't spawn for a while (except in one area of the Garbage which spawns on map load) and in a lot of areas STALKERS eventually take over from bandits if you kill off the mutants/bandits.

        well, i'm referring to the dump in the garbage you help defend - they keep coming in there constantly. I just moved on after it, pretty short on ammo.

        Yeah they flood that place constantly; in my game there's about two dozen bodies piled up right around the car by the rear exit.

      God I hate that. It made me lower the difficulty and restart. I didn't want to bother with the same friggin firefight 3-4 times. The game was starting to feel like a Final Fantasy game.

        In my current game, I'm wearing my 3rd armour. I have a stash of about 10 other suits I have collected but never wore since what I had was far better than anything else I found later in the game. Degradation will add a nice twist to just always being geared up in the best.

  It's also fucking hard. I started as veteran and every firefight is a new challange, I'm loving it.

  Also, don't forget that on some of the later Suits, you have Night vision (hit N). Keep in mind that the Night Vision makes noise, so you can't stealth around with it on.
