Evening Reading

So I realized today that my cell phone that was just replaced has this wacky VCast thing. Checked it out today and I'm really pretty impressed at how quickly a video buffers up and starts playing. Needs more boobies. Wacky technology these days...

- Hey guys, you are smarter than your wife/girlfriend/palm
- The gallon of milk kid gets some offers
- Remember that movie The Core? Totally scientifically accurate
- The human zoo
- Outsource to a small town!
- Lets all move to Mars

Lastly, have a look at the latest ShackMap! Done with some integration into Google Maps you can see where already over 800 Shackers are hanging out.

Steve Gibson is the cofounder of Shacknews.com. Originally known as sCary's Quakeholio back in 1996, Steve is now President of Gearbox Publishing after selling Shacknews to GameFly in 2009.

Geez, I put in the street I live on and it couldn't figure it out anymore. Had to just dump in the city name, so it puts me like 3 miles north out of town. O_o mkay (helps that I live in the middle of facking nowhere to begin with, im sure)

Go to http://maps.google.com/ and see if you can get it working there. Once you do, paste it into my geocoding thing.

One thing -- make sure you click the Geocode button - don't hit ENTER. That'll submit your form with a latitude/longitude of 0/0.
