Late Night E3 Impressions

20
Good lord, this is the eighth installment of my E3 impressions! Tonight's piece has impressions of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Super Mario Advance 4, XIII, Thief III, Deus Ex 2, Trinity and Buffy: Chaos Bleeds. Here's an excerpt:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (GC, PS2 Xbox): When I played the first Buffy the Vampire Slayer game, which was released for Xbox last year, I was a little disappointed by it. So, it seems, were the people at Fox Interactive, because this game seems to address a lot of the problems that had. The game's storyline comes courtesy of two people who wrote a handful of Buffy comic books (there's actually a comic adaptation coming out around the same time as this game), and it features The First, who were just the focal point of Buffy's last season. This was written before season seven got under way, but apparently it doesn't contradict anything that happens this year, and in fact is said to complement it well. It takes place during Season 5, meaning we get the harmless Spike this time. While you were only able to play as Buffy last time, in this game you'll get to play as Buffy, but also Willow, Xander, Spike and incredibly, even Sid the Dummy, who was featured in a single episode in the show's first season and hasn't been heard from since (the writers were apparently thrilled when they found a way to work him into the story)...

"Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Mario Advance 4"

The dudes at Nintendo are a little bit more Japenglish than normal with the whole Gameboy Advance(d) thing. Talk about some horrible titles.
