Tonight, on the Stevetendo show, we’re getting back into some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The sixth and final wave of the DLC recently came out and we’re going to show it off on tonight’s episode of the Stevetendo show. Detective Pikachu Returns is going to take some time off and should be back on the schedule next week. Wave six has added quite a few drivers as well as new courses to drive on.

I will be putting the courses and drivers through their paces before taking the training wheels off and jumping online for online races and for some good old-fashioned aggression. Have you really lived your life if you haven’t been Mario Karted before? If you haven’t stared down a blue shell in first place with a huge lead, have you really played Mario Kart at all? Set to go live at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, find out the answer to those questions and more on the Stevetendo show!

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into the Stevetendo show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Coming up on the show is more of our Super Mario Bros. Wonder playthrough as well as more Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I mentioned earlier that Detective Pikachu Returns will be back next week as well as Super Mario RPG coming on board too.

It’s an interesting time of the year in terms of video games. Companies try to get their last big title out for the holiday season. It’s also the time to start talking about games of the year as well as games getting nominated for awards. The Game Awards revealed their nominees for game of the year so we’re going to talk about it on the Stevetendo show tonight. Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were nominated so no shocker that the Stevetendo show is happy with that.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door will be over soon so we’ll need new games to play on the show. Super Mario RPG is already planned for the show since it's one of my all-time favorite games.
