Showing off the new locations and spooky new creatures that players will encounter, this second outing really looks to up the ante. Little Nightmares 2 has been given a release date of February 11, 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game is set to hit Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 at some point later on in 2021.

Originally revealed at Gamescom 2019, we get our latest batch of information on the game almost a year later to the date. Developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco, Little Nightmares 2 received a brand new trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The trailer provides us with our first look at gameplay in the puzzle-horror title.

In the trailer, we see Mono, donning a paper bag over their head and Six in the yellow rain jacket as they continue their journey through a grim world. We’re shown several of the game’s eerie locations, as well as scary foes, and environmental puzzles.

Originally released in 2017, the first Little Nightmare was an excellent addition to the world of indie horror. The newly announced release date of Little Nightmares puts the game at just under 6 months away, meaning fans of the original won’t have to wait extremely long for a new spooky adventure.
