If you're just getting ready to jump into Overwatch on Nintendo Switch, you might want to check out an equally awesome prospect that's out today, too: the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2019 event.

Overwatch's Halloween Terror 2019 is now live on all platforms, not just Switch, and runs from October 15 through November 4. The classic Junkenstein's Revenge returns, as well as a series of new Halloween cosmetics. Legendary skins include Pharoah Ana, Warlock Ashe, Demon Orisa, Will-o’-Wisp, and Scorpion Widowmaker. Epic skins come with Inferno Junkrat, Vampire Baptiste, and Gorgon Lucio. As usual, there are also fun emotes, player icons, sprays, and voice lines to collect.

As far as the Nintendo Switch version of Overwatch goes, there's a lot to love about the motion-controlled segments as well as all the goodies it comes with. You get 15 bonus skins, like Police Officer D.Va, Blackwatch Reyes Reaper, and Valkyrie Mercy – as well as a three-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership – to get started off on the right foot, for one.

If you're an Overwatch newbie, you'll also be pleased to hear that all 31 heroes and 28 maps will be up for grabs to play, which is great news – you'll want to find your favorite hero to play as, of course. With Halloween right around the corner, it's a great time to get into the spirit of the season and start earning rewards from the game's various challenges. And let us know how Overwatch feels on the Switch if you bought a copy! Is it so good it's scary, or is it scarily good?
