Jump into the mobile version of Gwent with a closed beta scheduled for next week.

Can't wait to play Gwent on the go? You'll get your wish soon enough, as CD Project RED is inviting players to try out the iOS version of the game very soon with a closed beta.

The closed beta will be the first official taste for players of the iOS version of Gwent, and anyone who has a GOG.com account can participate now. If you're primarily a PC player, you can bring all of your progress over to mobile and vice versa, using the same account across both platforms.

As far as when you'll actually have access to the closed beta, it's set to start on Tuesday, October 15. Spots will be limited on a first-come, first-serve basis so if you want to get in, you'll need to make sure you sign up by having a GOG account.

Gwent is out right now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The iOS version is set to officially debut on October 29. You can set up a free pre-order right now via the App Store, but other than trying out the app with the closed beta, that's about the only way to see how it plays on mobile at present. You'll just have to wait and check it out like the rest of us.

No big deal, right? It shoul be mostly the same Gwent that you know and love – though The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Nintendo Switch soon, so perhaps you could just play it there?
