This guide will show players the LMG Compensator location in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Getting your hands on this weapon attachment will be on of the tutorial missions and can provide players with some easy XP in the first hour of the game.

LMG Compensator location

The LMG Compensator is a muzzle attachment for the LMG weapon class. It’s located in the Fen Bog province. More specifically, it can be found in the training compound near Precipice Falls. Once players get to the compound, they will find about a dozen enemies to deal with, but they are spread out decently enough and easy to pick off with headshots. The LMG Compensator can be found in the tallest structure in the compound, and there will be one guard in the tower and one guard on the tower. Once in the small control room, take the ladder to the rooftop to find the attachment.

The LMG Compensator is only compatible with the LMG weapon class, so if players aren’t currently using an LMG it won’t be immediately useful to them. Once players own an LMG, though, the attachment can be equipped at any time through the Gunsmith option in the loadout menu.

Players looking to find some better weapons in the early game should also consider a couple that we’ve been able to track down, including the Tac 50 blueprint and the AK47 blueprint. Ghost Recon Breakpoint will require some long-range engagements to keep solo players safe, and the Tac 50 will do that job just fine. The AK47, on the other hand, is a great weapon to start with for players that are more in favor of the assaulter play style.
