Cyber Protocol is out on Switch today and if you like neon-tinted puzzlers, it'll be right up your alley. Your role as the hero has to hacking your Android buddy G0X6 in an attempt to bring him back to life after a job turned sour.

To save your friend, you'll have to hack your way through 100 levels. You can play either solo or with up to four other players. Besides the story there is an Arcade Mode which pits you against a leaderboard of the top 20 hackers in the world. The stakes are higher in this mode, and you'll have to think on your toes to live through your journey into cyberspace.

Cyber Protocol is the first game from studio RedDeerGames and its really gone all out to pack the game with as many features as it could. In addition to all the above, you can even jump into a music player and listen to the Synthwave and 8-Bit style soundtracks in your leisure time.

If all the above sounds great, then you can get Cyber Protocol on Nintendo Switch starting today. Until October 12, you can buy the game for a promo price of $7.77 and after that it'll be $9.99.

Will you be picking up a copy of Cyber Protocol, or are you not so interested in following your hacker dreams? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!

Nothing really to do with the game, but "Cyber" + "almost any other word or phrase" invokes some sort of cringe curse on me.

Same for me but only when it's used in the news: cyber crime, cyber criminal... ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mine tends to be when it's included in place of internet. So this one would be "Internet Protocol" or "Internet Store" or the like. Cyber crime fits that bill too.
