Death Stranding is now officially complete, and has gone gold, according to a tweet from the Kojima Productions Twitter account.

The game has gone gold, and the teams can't wait to get their game into the hands of eager players across the world. It's hard to believe, but Death Stranding is nearly here!

"DEATH STRANDING is complete and has gone gold!! Hideo Kojima, the Kojima Productions team, everyone at Sony and Guerrilla, cast members; all put their heart and soul into it. Thanks for your support, we can’t wait to bring you a new “A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME”. Play it on Nov 8th!!" read the tweet, from some obviously very excited team members. You can see the full tweet with photos below.

Kojima posed with his game in a separate tweet on his own account.

Previously, I put together a piece detailing some of the theories and "strands" of the Death Stranding mystery that we knew about so far.

Death Stranding is scheduled to arrive on November 8 on PlayStation 4. It certainly looks like it's going to be an intriguing game, and one full of mechanics we haven't seen before. Are you excited to get your hands on it? Let us know in the comments below.
