Hand tracking coming to Oculus Quest is a big step in the right direction, as user will no longer be required to use controllers or peripherals. As VR continues to move forward, having less hardware in the way is a blocker removed from casual users making the jump to VR experiences.

Every piece of hardware, instance of pairing, or device that needs to be charged is a complication that will prevent some users from feeling confident enough to jump into the VR space. Any removal of those complications will help Oculus expands its reach.
