Take your favorite Witcher-themed card game on the go this fall when it hits iOS.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is finally touching down on iOS soon, and that means players can go ahead and get their Gwent on later this year.

Gwent, the free-to-play card game from The Witcher series is planning an October launch, and everyone who already plays on PC can start taking the game on the go with them, as all progress, card collections included, will be carried over should you decide to swap platforms.

The game is up for pre-order now, though it will be free, via the App Store. Pre-orders are meant for the developers to ensure the game will be good to go when it finally debuts. Carrying over PC progress will require that players log into the game with their GOG login and password to get into their iOS account with all of the same collection and progress information. But that's certainly a major boon, not having to go through the game again, right?

The game will be available for everyone on iOS come October 29, and you'll be privy to a series of rebalancing tweaks, alterations, and other improvements to the game that also will hit PC. If you're a bit Witcher fan (or just love the card game) this is a pretty exciting development. And with a new iPhone on the way, what better time to go ahead and get into it than now?

Let us know if you'll be getting into the iOS version of Gwent in the comments below.
