The crew over at Yacht Club Games are preparing for a fresh showcase at this year's PAX West convention. The publisher and developer known for retro-themed platformer Shovel Knight as well as upcoming ninja-action title Cyber Shadow will be showcasing the latest in both games as well as an additional never-before-seen video game reveal.

Speaking in a press release, studio representatives indicated that PAX West 2019 will play host to the final games in the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove collection, specifically King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown. Cyber Shadow will also be in attendance, hopefully with a new trailer or word of the game's final release date.

Beyond these two, Yacht Club Games will also be showing off a brand new game. Absolutely nothing else is known about it, but the team have indicated that all titles will be demoed on the Nintendo Switch at the studio's PAX West booth.

The fun won't stop after PAX West 2019 ends, though. Yacht Club Games is "creating an all-new video presentation" on August 28 at 11 a.m. Pacific time, according to the press release. The new event will be streamed live over on the Yacht Club Twitch and YouTube channels, and will include "tons of never before seen surprises."

The video is already primed on YouTube, so for your convenience, we've embedded the video stream for Yacht Club Games Presents below.

With the popularity of retro-styled platformers and the ever-growing Shovel Knight family, game fans won't want to miss Yacht Club Games' latest announcements. Expect to hear more when PAX West 2019 kicks off on Friday, August 30, and keep it tuned to Shacknews' PAX home page for all the latest coverage.
