1

Let’s be honest, there are a ton of items, resources, and even upgrades that players can find and acquire in No Man’s Sky, especially with the release of the Beyond update. But, if you’re trying to get your hands on the Star Seed, which can increase your health by 1 when you use it, you’re going to need to put in some work. This guide will cover how to get the Star Seed blueprint, as well as how to craft Star Seed yourself.

How to get the Star Seed blueprint

Getting your hands on the Star Seed blueprint isn’t going to be easy, but it also isn’t that difficult. To acquire the blueprint, you’re going to need to complete The Atlas Path mission and then choose to birth a star. The Atlas Path is one of the two main story missions available in No Man’s Sky, and it will take players to several various planets throughout the game’s almost innumerable star systems. Once you’ve reached the final Atlas Interface, you’ll be given the option to birth a new star or walk away and return to the galaxy. To unlock the Star Seed blueprint, you must choose to birth a new star.

How to craft Star Seed

Now that you have the Star Seed blueprint, you can begin to craft the item and make use of it. To install the Star Seed you’re going to need to craft it. Thankfully, getting your hands on the resources needed to do that isn’t overly difficult.

To craft the Star Seed, you’re going to need the following ingredients:

  • 16 Platinum
  • 16 Tritium
  • 16 Gold

All of these items can be found or purchased from a Galactic Trade Terminal, making them very easy to get your hands on if you’ve done any amount of exploring. When you have all of the items, head into your inventory, find an empty slot, and then build the technology using the ingredients. It will automatically install after you craft it, increasing your Exosuit’s health by +1. If you really want to maximize your health increase, you can craft Star Seed adjacent to Remembrance, which also grants a +1 health bonus. When adjacent to each other, the two pieces of technology will yield an additional +1 health bonus, giving you a +3 total health bonus.
