If you want to join the beta for Winds of Magic, then all you really need to do is head over to the game’s official Steam page and preorder the DLC for $19.99. This will automatically unlock the beta for you, allowing you to dive in and start experiencing all the new content that Winds of Magic brings with it.

But exactly how long does the beta run for? Well, the beta is set to run until Winds of Magic releases completely on August 13. This means that you have almost an entire week to dive in and get the hang of the new weapons, game mode, and talents making their way into the Vermintide sequel. You’ll also have a new leaderboard feature, which you can use to see how you rank against others, including Fatshark employees themselves.

In a press release for the DLC, Fatshark CEO, Martin Wahlund stated, “Vermintide 2 continues to grow, and challenge the players in new ways. The Winds of Magic expansion will introduce a new enemy, the Beastmen, as well as new game mode, weapons, and leaderboards.” He continues, “We can’t wait to see how we rank up against the players on the leaderboards. Or maybe not?”
