The Transformers has been one of the most prolific names in merchandise and licensing for decades. Owned by Hasbro, the brand has generated millions of dollars in revenue and remains a popular name in collecting circles today. Hasbro’s latest line for the iconic morphing robots is titled “Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege.” Themed around the iconic battles that took place on their home planet, this wave of figures feature a wide range of autobots and decepticons. We got our hands on three of these figures and decided to unbox and review them on video.

In the video above, our own Greg Burke gets his hands on three new figures from the Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege line. Hound (wave 1), Megatron (wave 2), and Red Alert (wave 3) are the specific figures being unboxed. With the line being being themed around the war on planet Cybertron, all of the figures transform into their Cybertron forms. This means that the vehicle designs look more futuristic and less like what we have on Earth. One of the highlights of Greg’s review is the level of quality in packaging. Any collector knows how important the casing is to a figure. Greg goes in depth about the quality of the packaging in the review. The package for the War for Cybertron Siege figures even has a secret code that fans can find using a blacklight.

What are your thoughts on Hasbro’s latest line of Transformers line? Do you plan on picking up any of the figures currently available? If you enjoyed the unboxing and review, subscribe to Shacknews and GamerHubTV’s Youtube channels for more Hasbro and collectible related content.
