In order for an actor to give the strongest performance possible, they need to dive into the mind of the character they're portraying. Fortunately for Greg Cipes, he gets to dive into the mind of characters such as Beast Boy, one of the most beloved DC heroes featured in hit TV series Teen Titans.

Shacknews was able to meet up with Greg Cipes at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, not for an in-depth discussion of his process nor to learn how he wound up down this career path, but to instead ask the kind of questions only someone who's tapped into the mind of Beast Boy can address: What are his favorite foods, music, and his top celebrity crush? And what are Cipes', for that matter? Find out through the interview featured in the video embed below.

The striking similarities between the preferences of both Cipes and Beast Boy becomes immediately obvious through the interview. Both share a penchant for vegetables, reggae music, Sublime's The Black Album, and canines. In fact, both are in agreement that dogs represent "the highest form of life on the planet," though we're still waiting on confirmation as to whether or not Cipes' canine friend is indeed engaged to Teen Titans costar Tara Strong.

Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans is available for purchase now on DVD and Blu-ray as well as through streaming video services. Fans can hear more of Greg Cipes' music by checking out the Cipes and the People album Fire in the Sky on Apple Music.
