In the world of video games, it's very hard to beat a zero-dollar price tag. And while Capcom isn't giving away copies of Street Fighter 5, the developer is hosting another free weekend for the game, giving newcomers the chance to see what Street Fighter 5 is all about or to give those familiar with the series a look at the latest Season 3 characters.

This newest Street Fighter 5 free trial will run from August 1 all the way through August 11, giving players nearly two weeks to catch up with Ryu, Chun-Li, and the rest of the gang. Xbox players are obviously left out of the loop, since SF5 is yet to release for Microsoft's console, but the trial is still open to players across the PlayStation 4 and Steam-powered PCs.

As can be seen in the video teaser posted by the official Street Fighter Twitter account, all 16 playable fighters will be present during the free trial, including Season 3 characters such as Sakura, Cody, Blanka, Sagat, Cody, and G. For those who like the big picture, here's the list of each fighter that will be playable during the Street Fighter 5 free trial:

  • Birdie
  • Blanka
  • Cammy
  • Chun-Li
  • Cody
  • Dhalsim
  • F.A.N.G.
  • Falke
