Microsoft continues to fill its Xbox Game Pass service with dozens of games for both its Xbox One and PC iterations of the games on demand service. A good portion of those games come from hard-working indie gaming developers and with the help of the folks at ID@Xbox, those games are finding a whole new audience. With that said, Xbox revealed another batch of indies set to hit the Game Pass service.

Arguably headlining this crop of games is Toby Fox's standout 2015 RPG, Undertale. For those unfamiliar with this effort, players fall into the Underground and must wander through a world filled with monsters. While the choice is there to fight in unique turn-based battles, players also have the option to pacify their adversaries and follow a peaceful path throughout the adventure. Undertale will come to the PC iteration of Xbox Game Pass, which is currently in beta.

Here are the games set to hit Xbox Game Pass on both Xbox One and PC:

  • My Time at Portia (Pathea)
  • Bad North (Plausible Concept)
  • Gonner (Art in Heart)
  • The Banner Saga 3 (Stoic Studio)
  • Yoku's Island Express (Villa Gorilla)
  • Worms W.M.D. (Team17 Digital Limited)

It should be noted for The Banner Saga 3 that your save information and choices from the previous Banner Saga games will carry over to this new game, so make sure you have your save data on a compatible device.

The following games will come to Xbox Game Pass on PC only. No word on when they'll come to Xbox One.

  • Undertale (Toby Fox)
  • Timespinner (Lunar Ray Games)
  • Unavowed (Wadjet Eye Games)
  • Machinarium (Amanita Design)
  • For The King (IronOak Games)

Xbox Game Pass has proven to be a tremendous value, especially after it combined with Xbox Live Gold to create Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. With the available library of games also making its way to PC, its value has only increased, especially with the addition of these fine indie games. Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
