Free July PS Plus games include Horizon Shift Turbo, PES 2019

Plus, be sure to snag June's free PS Plus games before the torch is passed

It's that time again. Once again, like we do every month, we take a look at the free games available this month for PlayStation Plus users.

With July on the horizon, threatening to rear its head sooner than we thought was humanly possible (how has June gone by so quickly?) it's time to take a look at what's next. Sony has confirmed that the next batch of free games for July will include both Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Shift Turbo.

If you're a soccer fan, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 brings plenty of real-world soccer leagues with familiar players together for an exciting time. You can play through Master League and myClub modes to start up your own soccer club career, play solo, play with up to 4 local players, or go online and see how good you really are.

As far as Horizon Chase Turbo, if you're into classic racers, you'll love what this '90s style arcade racing game has to offer. Inspired by games like Out Run and Top Gear, it's got a wicked soundtrack and split-screen multiplayer as well.

If neither of these games sound good to you, you can still grab June's two free PlayStation Plus games while there's time left in the month. Those include Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania, two titles you won't want to miss out on adding to your PS Plus library. Both will be up for grabs for anyone with an active PS Plus membership until July 1.

In the meantime, what will August's free games look like? We'll be right back here again with another update when we have some sort of idea about what to look forward to. Keep checking back near the end of July and we'll do this all for the bajillionth time. That's okay, you love us.
