Limited Run Games to distribute Shenmue 3 Collector's Edition - E3 2019

Today we learned that Limited Run Games will be the exclusive distributor of the Shenmue 3 Collector's Edition.

Fans excited about this year’s release of Shenmue 3 will be able to pick up a special Shenmue 3 Collector’s Edition of the game, and Limited Run Games will be the exclusive distributor of the upcoming Collector’s Edition.

Set to release in November of this year, Shenmue 3 will continue the story of Yu Suzuki’s Shenmue series with modern graphics. We learned a bit more about the game during today’s PC Gaming Show at E3 2019, but Limited Run Games held onto the biggest piece of news, revealing that the company known for bringing physical releases to obscure indie games would be the exclusive distributor of the Shenmue 3 Collector’s Edition.

Of course, that wasn’t the only important bit of information shared during the Limited Run Games conference. We also learned a bit more about what the Collector’s Edition of the game would include, as well as how many copies of it would be available.

According to Limited Run Games, the Shenmue 3 Collector’s Edition will include a copy of the game, several iconic stickers from the game, iron-on patches featuring authentic designs from the Shenmue series, a special Shoji Door styled desk lamp light box, and a double-sides Phoenix/Dragon mirror.

We also learned that there will only be 5,000 copies of the Shenmue 3 Collection’s Edition will be created. 4,000 of these copies will feature a PlayStation 4 version of the game, with the last 1,000 shipping with PC versions. You can preorder the Collections Edition of Shenmue 3 from the Limited Run Games website, so make sure you pick yours up before they are gone.
