Originally announced back at E3 2017, Beyond Good and Evil 2 acts as a prequel to the original action-adventure game, Beyond Good and Evil. Since the release of the first game, the development of Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been characterized quite heavily with doubt, rumors, and uncertainty. With so much still unknown about the upcoming game, many thought we’d see Beyond Good and Evil 2 make an appearance at E3, unfortunately it did not.

According to a post shared on the official website for the game, developer Ubisoft Montpellier decided to forego attending the actual show this year to instead focus on continued development and progression for Beyond Good and Evil 2. According to the post, the team is focusing on core development milestones.
They did host a livestream on June 5, shortly before E3 kicked off. Here we were able to learn a bit more Beyond Good and Evil 2. It feels like this game is never going to come out.
I was just about to ask if they showed anything about this game there. Didn't get to see the conference.
I enjoyed the first game (but didn’t love it). It was pretty small and simple. This sequel seems to be something else entirely. It seems to be very big but I’m not sure why. Who is it for?
