Goku from Dragon Ball GT joins FighterZ roster next month

Dragon Ball GT's Goku is joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster next month, so get ready for a whole lot more carnage - with kid Goku.

Ever wanted to play Dragon Ball FighterZ as a pint-sized Goku? Arc System Works is making that dream come true with the addition of Goku from Dragon Ball GT.

This version of Goku is the child Goku wished into existence by Emperor Pilaf at the beginning of Dragon Ball GT. He's the same character, just in a child body, with powerful specials, the ability to go Super Saiyan 4, and a devastating Dragon Fist attack. He can also use his Super Spirit Bomb, Reverse Kamehameha, and Power Pole to completely own all comers.

Our own Blake Morse reviewed Dragon Ball FighterZ, rewarding it with a 9 out of 10. Here's what he thought about the game:

"At the end of the day, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a game made for fans of the series. It does a great job of keeping itself accessible to a wide age range and scale of ability. Beyond the essential inclusion of Goku, Vegeta, and their respective progeny, the roster has a decent selection of friends and enemies from throughout the series, including newer characters like Beerus and Hit, without getting bloated down by overinclusion (did anyone really want to play as every member of the Ginyu force?)," he wrote."

"This is truly the best Dragon Ball fighter I’ve played since the Super Famicom imports. It’s pure fighting bliss that makes you feel as OP as the characters on the show by adding so much style and flare. Longtime fans and newer fans who may just be familiar with Dragon Ball Super will find something to enjoy here if they’re fans of fighters."

Goku will be joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster on May 9 for those who have the FighterZ Pass 2, available now for $24.99.
