Developed by Ganbarion and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc, One Piece World Seeker is provided a new experience set within the world of the hit manga, one focused on the point of view of the series' main character Luffy. Today, the teams behind this upcoming title have released the opening cinematic, setting the tone for those who're waiting to get their hands on this new game later this month.

In One Piece World Seeker, Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat pirate crew have landed on Prison Island, creating conflict with the island's warden Isaac. This new cinematic trailer shows all of us just how the One Piece World Seeker adventure kicks off.

Once you get your hands on this new title, you take control of Monkey D. Luffy, the Straw Hat pirate crew captain and owner of powers due to eating the Gum-Gum Fruit. The devil fruit allows Luffy to stretch his body in all kinds of incredible ways, which gives him unique abilities for traversal and combat. Throughout Prison Island, which has been devastated by war and is being rebuilt by the Navy, Luffy and the crew can take on missions from island locals and grow Luffy's skills so he can take on increasingly challenging opponents and situations.

Fans of the One Piece franchise should be exciting to see some familiar faces and engage in some high-octane action that stretches Luffy to his limits. See how the Prison Island saga unfolds when One Piece World Seeker launches March 15, 2019, on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
