Microsoft is about to show off their vision for the future of computing at MWC 2019. Formerly known as the Mobile World Congress, the event is happening right now in Barcelona. While Microsoft may have not placed in the race for smartphone dominance, the company is intensely focused on augmented reality and cloud technologies that will push technology into the next decade. The team at Microsoft plan to kick off the presentation at 6:00 PM CET/12:00 PM ET/9:00 AM PT on February 24, 2019.

What is expected to be announced at the event?

There are a lot of rumors swirling around the Internet that Microsoft will unveil the second generation of their Hololens augmented reality head-mounted display computer. Hololens 2 would certainly qualify as a mobile product and would hold true to the company's promise of showing attendees "new innovations for the future of computing."
